Galaxy Auto which managed by Stepup Auto Ltd, specializes in the manufacturing and production of parts and accessories for trucks and SUVs. We aim to provide fellow auto enthusiasts with access to the highest quality, state-of-the-art products to truly customize their driving experience. Since we are expanding our product categories, we are now hiring an experienced Purchasing Agent to handle the increasing purchasing work for Galaxy Auto. The qualified candidate is expected to work 40 hours per week with an annual salary of $72,800. And the job duties and requirements for this position is listed below:

Job duties:
• Responsible for materials and services procurement, bidding, and suppliers factory inspection;
• Conduct the purchasing contracts and negotiate the quotations with the components suppliers and the original equipment manufacturers to lower the cost;
• Regularly check the qualities of the materials and services, and determine if we should continue and terminate the contract with the current suppliers;
• Discover new suppliers and manufacturers who can provide better materials or services at lower cost, then establish cooperation and maintain relationships;
• Analyze and review demand data and stock levels to assess the requirements for equipment and materials and ensure the supplies could consistently fulfill the demands;
• Adjust the purchasing plan according to clients’ and company’s needs;
• Study the import and export limitations on vehicle parts and equipment in Asia and North America, consider the limitations when doing procurement to ensure the orders can be fulfilled;
• Arrange logistics delivery schedule, monitor the delivery progress and resolve issues on time;
• Assist the Manager to prepare purchasing report and future budget estimation, then present to other departments and senior management at the annual and quarterly meetings, collect feedback and adjust budgeting and purchasing plan if needed;

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management and related fields is required.
• Three years of experience in purchasing mechanical components or equipment is required.
• Three years of experience working with/cooperating with original equipment manufacturers is mandatory.
