We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team. It is a full-time position (35 hours/week), $27.75/hour, paid on a semi-monthly basis with 10 days of paid vacation. Job duties:
- Prepare tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes;
- WorkSafe BC remittances;
- Calculate and prepare cheques for utilities and other bills;
- Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information;
- Process accounts receivable and payable;
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements;
- Prepare T4s and T4 Summaries.
Job requirements:
- Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field is required;
- Experience is an asset
- Excellent computer skills and strong understanding of MS Excel;
- Knowledge of 'Quickbooks' is an asset;
- Language of work: Ability to communicate in English is required;
