The Casa Dolce Casa team consists of an array of medical, hospitality, and administrative professionals with a singular mission: to put seniors at the heart of everything we do. We are a small, privately owned assisted living retirement Home. We are looking for a cook to join our team.
JOB Duties:
Prepare and execute various dishes as per the menu, including special dietary dishes;
Ensure top-quality food, portion control;
Proper handling of food, with particular attention to Food Safety;
Responsible for keeping the work area clean and organized;
Assist in food inventory and control;
Assist in properly receiving and storing delivered items;
Learn and keep up with new changes to the menu;
Compassionate attitude and empathy towards elderly residents, understanding their unique needs and providing personalized care through meal preparation.
REQUIREMENTS:
High-School is an asset but not required;
1+ year experience in the food industry or equivalent school experience;
Attention to detail;
Fast-paced environments.
Flexible hours, including weekends.
