At this time we are looking for a Field Manager, the duties associated with this role are as follows:
• Review shop drawings and project plans to ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications.
• Attend site meetings to discuss project progress and address concerns.
• Schedule and coordinate window deliveries with the plant, shipping, and installation crew.
• Supervise window installation for conformance to shop drawings.
• Conduct site inspections to verify safe working conditions and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain a project binder containing all relevant documents issued to the installer.
• Identify oversize window units and coordinate their delivery with crane services.
• Prepare as-built marked-up drawings reflecting any changes made during installation.
• Report and address deficiencies identified within received reports.
• Oversee field coordinator duties.
• Review and approve installer invoices for accuracy and adherence to budget.
• Maintain a chronological photo history of the project for progress tracking and risk management.
• Assist other Field Managers with their projects.
• Conduct pre-installation inspections to ensure the site is prepared for window installation.
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure proper sequencing of work.
• Troubleshoot installation problems and identify solutions to maintain project timelines.
• Other tasks as required and assigned by managers
Skills requirements:
• High School Diploma is required.
• A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in architectural science or technology, civil engineering, construction management or related field is required.
• Project Management Professional Certification or Construction Project Management Diploma is not required but is considered an asset.
• 3+ years of field management experience or project coordination experience.
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Proficient in Autocad, Sketchup, Procore and Adobe Photoshop

(a) the employee is entitled to be paid overtime pay for each hour of work performed in the week after the total of 44 hours performed; and
(b)the overtime pay for each hour referred to in clause (a) is one and a-half times the regular rate that applies to the work performed in that hour.
This position is a full-time, permanent position where English is the primary language of work.
The primary location of work will be at the primary business address: 220 Hunter’s Valley Rd, Vaughan.
