Salary
• $21.50/hr., paid bi-weekly.
Duties and responsibilities
• Supervise and oversee daily operations of the convenience store and gas station, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Manage and schedule staff shifts, including assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders for stock replenishment, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and maximize sales.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including food safety standards and fuel handling protocols.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to provide excellent customer service.
• Perform cash handling duties, including opening and closing registers, reconciling cash drawers, and preparing bank deposits
• Conduct regular audits of cash, inventory, and sales records to maintain accuracy and accountability.
• Implement marketing and promotional initiatives to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving store performance and achieving sales targets.
• Assist with the recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff as needed.
Education
• College diploma (Education in relevant trade is an asset)
Experience
• At least 6 months in relevant trade
