Stockyard Meat Products is a wholesale meat company that specializes in supplying Caribbean-style foods. Our products include Oxtail, Goat, Chicken and other specialized products. Our processing facility is provincially inspected, ensuring that all our products are produced and distributed safely and hygienically.
We are looking for a skilled Butcher to provide high-quality meats and services to our customers.
Job Duties:
Cut, debone, and trim the meat into pieces according to internal requirements.
Use saws, power-cutting tools and different knives.
Cleans, weighs, packages and labels meat for sale.
Maintains a clean, organized and sanitary station according to the food safety department.
Orders and monitors meat stock.
Participates in meetings with supervisors or managers as requested.
Requirements:
Completion of High School (Preferred);
Over one year of experience in a work-related environment;
Ability to stand and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods;
Attention to detail and working well with others;
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
