Description

The Plant Operator is a vital member of our Saskatchewan grain processing facility, with a mandate to verify the quality of grain produced and support Scoular's delivery of the highest purity grains available on the market. The Plant Operator will contribute to the overall production team to ensure efficient, on-time, quality controlled grain production, as well as assisting other team members to maintain continual and efficient production, and cross training on all production related tasks. Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Identify and manage hazards/risks.
- Set up the cleaning system for a variety of commodities and adjust to achieve the product grade.
- Regular sampling and analysis of cleaned product and screenings.
- Completion of product logs for daily production reports.
- Ensure compliance with all Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) applicable to plant operation.
- Perform necessary maintenance and inspections on equipment.
- Expected to do routine clean up daily through out the facility.
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude, always striving to contribute to team success.
- Other duties as required.

You will be entitled to 15 days in accordance with Saskatchewan provincial employment standards, and eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. You will also be eligible for discretionary salary increases, promotions, and performance bonuses in accordance with Scoular policies.
