Job description
Job title: Cook (Noc 63200)
Nature: Full-time permanent.
Wage: $17.00/hour
Work hours: Monday-Sunday, 40 hours/week
Address: 27-29 Conception Bay Highway, Spaniards Bay NL A0A 3X0

Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation per annum or remuneration of 4% of basic salary
Job duties
Prepare and cook Chinese dishes and food items.
Evaluate portion sizes and estimate food requirements and costs.
Organize and oversee the schedules of kitchen assistants.
Supervise the daily functions of the kitchen.
Plan menus and train kitchen staff.
Set up, clean the kitchen and work area.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain detailed records of ingredients.
Job requirements
Completion of secondary school is a must.
At least a year of working experience as a cook or similar role is preferred.
Outstanding cooking skills, especially in Chinese cuisine.
Good team worker.
Being good in a second language is preferred.
