What does the LOB do? Canadian Banking Division - all operations, banking, branches etc.


Reason the role is open: Need to augment team working on Bill 64 - Quebec Privacy bill to meet the deadline

What project will this contractor be working on? Privacy program - Bill 64 - Quebec Privacy bill - updating the consents. They will take the requirements and update the procedure to comply with the new law.

Target Start Date: June 3, 2024

Duration: 4 months

Office Location: 81 Bay 14th Floor


Team Size? Huge team -that workstream is technology, business etc. with 6 PMs

Selling points of the position: well managed team, lots of support and training, able to transition into program

How many years of experience? 8-10 years of experience preferred


Responsibilities:

Support the development of documentation needs for client-facing employees in Banking Centres, Contact Centres, and employees in operations teams such as Retail Operations and the Bank to deliver on Knowledge Management’s mandate “To make it easy for employees to seek, understand and act on information to do their jobs”.

Design, write, edit and maintain documentation for frontline and back-office roles

• Analyzes the impact and effectiveness of communications suitable to all audiences

• Write new and maintain existing content to support call centres, banking centres, and back-office operations nationally:

o Procedure, process, policy and product information

o Standards and guidelines

o Legal disclosures and guidelines

o Sales campaigns

o Communications

• Ensures that the information is clear, logical, accurate and complete, following plain language, style guide and accessibility standards

• Consults and coordinates needs assessment and documentation review sessions with submitters to ensure documentation solution achieves end user and business needs

• Communicates effectively with business partners to ensure the correctness and effectiveness of content

• Recommends documentation solutions that utilize industry leading design practices for the intranet, including content reuse, search, plain language and design

• Adheres to all metadata and AI writing requirements with KC content

Must Have Requirement:

FI experience to understand procedures

8 years' experience

Experience in creating documentation for a technical audience

Tech savvy - understand technology

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

Nice to Have:

MS Office and SharePoint
