Our client is seeking a SR SAP BTP Architect with ABAP experience to support a oil and gas client

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP-based solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Leverage New Age Business Technology Platform (BTP) development services to innovate and modernize SAP solutions.
• Provide comprehensive oversight for client’s cloud initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
• Oversee the architecture, implementation, and management of cloud solutions to ensure high performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with SAP and other strategic partners for seamless integration and operation of cloud services.
• Serve as the primary contact for cloud-related discussions and negotiations with external partners.
• Conduct thorough architectural reviews of cloud solutions to meet Suncor’s technical and business requirements.
• Provide guidance and recommendations for optimizing cloud architectures.
• Monitor day-to-day cloud workloads for optimal performance and resource utilization.
• Support team members with guidance, troubleshooting, and workload management.
• Manage and support high-priority (P1/P2) cloud incidents to ensure timely resolution and minimal business impact.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to address and resolve cloud-related incidents.

Must-Haves:

• SAP BTP Architecture
• SAP ABAP Developer
• Data Sphere experience
• Managing Stakeholder Experience

Nice-to-Haves:

• Clean Core.
• Based in Calgary and Oil and Gas experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
• SAP certifications in relevant areas are a plus.
