 Description  : We are pleased to introduce , Canada’s largest fitness, and Martial Arts Facility and the home of Mixed Martial Arts in Western Canada. World Champion Club was originally constructed in 2016 with the vision of growth and support of all combat sports. With over 35,000 square feet facility of space, the club has made numerous strides in promoting the growth of our sport in British Columbia. With free weights, heavy bags, MMA cage, and boxing rings, our club is equipped to offer you a second to none fitness experience you can find nowhere else.
For providing a better experience for our clients, we are seeking two qualified candidates to fill in the new positions: one fitness instructor, one boxing and fitness instructor.

Main duties of a fitness instructor:
Develop fitness classes which are designed to develop and promote positive fitness levels
Demonstrate exceptional instruction to individuals of all fitness levels
Provide clients warm-up exercises to minimize injury
Define a realistic training goal based on a result of the fitness consultation or assessment
Give clients information or resources about nutrition, weight control, and lifestyle issues
Educate the clients’ how to deal with the common acute sports injuries/ tissue damage
Maintains attendance records for work-out sessions
Distribute and Collect evaluations as requested
Offer the emergency first aid if needed
Ensure the equipment onsite are safe for participants to use


Main duties of a boxing and fitness instructor:
Provide clients with a challenging and productive work-out experience
Demonstrate exceptional instruction to individuals of all fitness levels
Provide clients warm-up exercises to minimize injury
Demonstrate general knowledge of nutrition and influence on the performance of exercise activities
Design and facilitate a safe and effective boxing class or private work-out sessions with a wide range of ages and skill levels
Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations governing boxing, and the use of boxing equipment
Assist in creating personal goals for clients and detailed plans on how to accomplish the goals
Ensure all accidents and attendances are always logged in a timely manner

Employment Requirement:
Completion of High School is required
Certification for PT, group fitness instructor or boxing is required
At least 3-years Work experience in fitness training or boxing instruction is required
CPR/First Aid Certificate required
All positions are subject to a criminal record review

Terms of Employment:
Full-time, permanent, 35-40 hours per week

$20.00 - $22.00 hourly depending on experience
