Job title: Specialist Chef
Rinag Foods Inc., located at 88 Jamie Ave., Nepean, Ontario K2E 6T6, specializes in production, distribution and catering of authentic Indian food. We produce a range of authentic Indian recipes on our premises with fresh first hand products – we have been in active business since 1986 and we have built a solid reputation of high standard of culinary excellence and supplying our delicious products to many restaurants in Ontario. Our reputation is based on the quality of our products. We are urgently looking for a highly experienced, creative and innovative experienced chef with at least 2 years of experience in preparing and cooking traditional Indian recipes and curries.
Job Description:
As a full-time Specialist Chef you will be required to work morning, evening and weekend. The applicant should be team worker, punctual, proactive, outgoing and dependable and be required to perform the following tasks:
• Prepare and cook complete authentic Indian recipes and curries
• Instruct cooks in preparation and gridding of special Indian herbs and spices;
• Prepare and mix ingredients with specific species to create the right balance of taste;
• Create new recipes according to specific request of the clients;
• Oversee kitchen operations and ensure quality of the food;
• Adapt menu dishes to accommodate customers with food orders;
• Plan menus and order food and kitchen supplies along with the supervisor;
• Supervise cooks and kitchen staff.
