Job Position: Head Cook

Job Description:
- Make sushi including cooking rice, making sauces, rolling sushi, temperature recording, cutting and packaging for take-out and dine-in plate preparation.
- Maintain menu knowledge and food preparation
- Provide excellent customer service
- Provide training and guidance to staff members regarding sushi culinary cooking procedures and plating
- Properly measure and assemble ingredients required for preparing the standard recipes
- Store and properly handle raw or prepared foods and non-food supplies
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedule and procedures
- Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
- Follow all designated uniform, grooming, safety and sanitation rules and regulations
Job Requirement:
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Min. 3-5 years of cooking experience is required
- Communication skills in English
Term: Full-Time (30-40 hours per week), Permanent
Wage : $19.00 per hour
Benefit : 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% of salary as vacation pay
