Duties:
• Compile tables, charts, graphs and summarized statistics for integration in research papers and reports;
• Collect, consolidate, cross-tabulate and format data from various sources to prepare draft reports for review by supervisors or researchers;
• Assist in collection and tracking of data from monitored use of services and provide information to management and client groups;
• Conduct self-evaluations and assessments of projects and programs;
• May supervise statistical and research support workers;
• Collecting and organizing clinical data obtained during hygiene and surgical procedures;
• Organizing the data into technical reports;
• Analyzing the data and assisting in preparing scientific papers;
• Problem-solving within method development;
• Statistical analysis of data;
• Assisting in the preparation of presentations;
• Ensuring the clinical studies stay on track with clinical objectives and comply with the ethics governing the studies;
• Explaining procedures to study participants and family members;
• Co-ordinating and liaising with the graduate students involved in the studies as required
• Liaise and support investigators from Brock University, as required; and
• Maintaining, updating and managing information databases.

Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required;
• 6-12 months of experience as a research officer or equivalent role;
• Dentistry background is required.
