New Business Acquisition

• Prospect for potential new clients & partners, generating business and turning them into increased business.
• Identify potential partners and the decision makers within the organization.
• Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. * Meet potential clients and partners by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
• Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
• Plan approaches and pitches. * Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the clients’ and partner’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
• Participate in pricing the solution/service.
• Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. * Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
• Travel to participate in sales meetings, trade shows, etc.
• Take direction from the senior business development officer.

Client and Colleague Support

• Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet clients and partners needs.
• Research and build meaningful relationships with new clients and partners.
• Demonstrate superior customer service, and experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Triage inquiries and offer timely, comprehensive replies.
• Arrange and participate in internal and external debriefs.

Marketing and Sales

• Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
• Present to and consult with the team on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
• Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
• Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
• Forecast sales targets and ensure the team & our partners meets them.
• Present and develop business development training and mentoring to our partners and other internal staff.
• Help develop a rating system to our partners to ensure their highly quality performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business or Commerce.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Experience opening new markets (domestic or international) for a product or service.
• Ability to work with autonomy in a fast paced environment.
• Experience working internationally is an asset.
• Intercultural competencies Multilingual are an asset.
