 Description  : The El Furniture Warehouse General Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of the store. The role is to ensure both staff and guests are the top priority and leave each day feeling appreciated and part of the team.
GM Responsibilities:
? Hires, trains, develops and performance manages employees.
? Leads and motivates a team of high energy, driven staff and encourages excellence.
? Ensures an energetic, entertaining and inviting Warehouse atmosphere is always delivered to both guests and staff.
? Overall management of the venue including all metrics (hiring for fit, proactive hiring, new hire administration, accounting administration, cost controls, cash management, inventory, KPIs, labour).
? All tasks are completed accurately and on time.
? Manages and oversees the FOH/BOH labour targets and scheduling.
? Maintains and performs FOH inventory
? Ensures company policies and procedures are taught to and followed by all staff.
? Manage and track QSA, Spill, Void and promotional tabs daily.
? Manages the repairs and maintenance within budgets.
? Weekly forecast sent to Regional Manager every Wednesday and discussed and weekly manager meeting.

? Communicates honestly and with positive intent: Tells the truth and speaks with candor/honesty, respectful in all communication, embraces challenging conversations, encourages others
? Is accountable: Earns trust, owns decisions and impact of decisions, respects other’s time and effort, can deliver on expectations
