As a Network & System Administrator for Jiffy Lube, you will provide assistance and maintenance to our hardware, software and network as well as fix any issue related to the equipment and system when needed.

Job Duties:
1. Monitor daily performance of Jiffy Lube’s network (LAN & WAN), hardware, software, server, ERP-POS, CRM and operation systems etc, to ensure their availability, connections and reliability and document records of inspection for reference.
2. Review system and application logs to troubleshoot and repair issues such as LAN & WAN connectivity, CRM system configuration and installation, routers, firewalls and security etc.
3. Evaluate the existing network equipment, hardware and software to fix, rebuild or decommission old and defective devices accordingly to meet sales, inventory data storage and transmission needs.
4. Install and upgrade new hardware, CRM software and peripherals, configure services, settings, directories, and storage etc. in accordance with the company standards and policies.
5. Manage employees’ accounts, permissions, and access rights, control Web navigation, email use, software download to prevent data breaches?
6. Provide on-site technical support including network problem-solving, computer software failure, CRM system related issues and equipment functional problems to employees when needed.
7. Run security checks and safety tests, and monitor network traffic on a regular basis to identify possible intrusions and follow up.
8. Perform routine CRM data backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure all required files are transferred appropriately and securely on the cloud and hard drive.
9. Provide recommendation on software and hardware improvements, upgrades, reconfigurations and purchases etc. as well as liaise with external resources for the third-party hardware and software installation and configurations.


Qualifications:
1. A University Degree or College Diploma in computer science, network administration, information systems or a related field is required
2. A minimum of three years of work experience in network and system administration, network engineering or relevant area.
3. Applicable industry certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, MCITP, MCSE, CISSP would be an asset
4. Solid working knowledge of routing protocols, network security, MPLS/VPN, Firewall, routers, and switches.
5. Excellent and creative problem-solving skills, team player.
