Job Title: Plasterer (NOC #7284)
Company: Maple Leaf Drywall Ltd.
Permanent Position: Plasterer (NOC: 7284)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Evening
Wages: $27.10 Hourly
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Head Office: 14157 79A Avenue Surrey, B.C V3W 2Z5
Location of Work: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley, and Lower Mainland depending upon the Company's contracts.
Education: High School
Experience: 2 years of experience as a plasterer is required.
Language: Basic English
Job Duties:
1. Clean and prepare surfaces
2. Mix plaster ingredients in trough to desired consistency
3. Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster using trowels, floats, brushes and spraying equipment 4. Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
5. Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat,
6. Cure freshly plastered surfaces. Mold and install ornaments plaster panels, cornices and trim.
7. Spray acoustic materials or texture finish over walls and ceilings.
