Parmeshar Sweet Shop & Restaurant Ltd. Caters for a variety of traditional and contemporary Indian cuisines. All our dishes are prepared with authentic Indian Style. Currently, we are offering a full time-permanent position for 1 cook to join our team.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible
Wage Rate: $ 25.00/ Hour, (35 hours / week.)
Overtime may be required
Vacation Pay: As per BC Employment Standards Act
Language: Basic English

The qualified Cooks will perform the following duties:
• Ability to cut, slice, chop, dice and shred vegetables
• Prepare and cook different Indian snacks and main course meals
• Can make variety of snacks
• Create and maintain inventory of food, supplies and equipment
• Ability to size food portions without much wastage
• Estimate food requirements and costs
• May go out to shop for certain items
• Maintain kitchen and work area clean and sanitized at all times
• Other related duties as required
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helper
The right candidate must have the following skills:
• Completion of Some Secondary School.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial cooking experience or completion of a College or other programs in cooking is required.
• May require working long hours.
• Work on weekends and holidays would be required.
• Ability to communicate in Basic English.
