Employment Type: Full-time
Term of Contract: Permanent, continuous
Benefits: Basic benefit, paid vacation
Location: 896 W8th Ave, Vancouver, BC
Salary and work hours: $33/hour, paid semi-monthly, 35 hours/week
Job Responsibilities:
• Formulate and oversee the administrative management system, and implement the standardized management of the school’s daily activities;
• Lead the administrative affairs and direct the administrative team in the administrative service to support the other departments;
• Direct the school’s file management, including the student files, documents, collection and sorting of all kinds of student data from different departments;
• Oversee the student database, including the student’s attendance, performance and academic progress;
• Collaborate with other departments to organize the school activities and meetings, prepare for the evaluation report after each event;
• Review and control the financial budgets on the office supplies, purchasing activities and other related expenses, and make a record summary;
• Supervise the maintenance procedure and the management of office order and supplies;
• Review, make comments on the school manuals, expense reports;
• Be responsible for the recruitment activities, including interviewing the applicants and training new employees.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
• At least 2 years administrative experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Work experience at an educational industry background is an asset
• Skills in multi-tasking, interpersonal, team management, and time management
• Proficient skills in using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices is an asset
