Job description:
• Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
• Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
• Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
• Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and support overall human resources planning
• Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
• Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
• Represent the organization or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization in negotiations or other official functions
• Manage the company's overall development objectives by directing the efforts of the Care Designers, Community Marketing Specialist, and other staff members.
• Work closely with the executives in evaluating and establishing company-wide growth prospects.
• Evaluate and direct business activities by directing and managing Middle management and staff members.
• Direct and assess the performance of the Care Designers, Community Marketing Specialist, PSWs, and other staff members.
• Oversee the activities of the Community Marketing Specialist in maintaining current revenues and sales goals.
• Integrate staff development measures and assist with meeting staffing needs
• Collaborate with other executives and business owners on national growth strategies
• Implement safety policies.
• Establish and implement corporate policies and programs made in conjunction with the Company's Corporate Head Office executives.

Additional Skills:
• Demonstrated passion for, and knowledge of, services for Senior Home Care Services;
• Proven leadership and change management skills;
• Demonstrated skills in strategic thinking and planning;
• Previous experience in managing a large and diverse workforce of similar size and scope;
• Ability to work with staff and families in complex situations and from a variety of cultures and family values and beliefs;
• Capacity to build and lead strong, cohesive teams;
• Provide effective leadership to the management team;
• Ability to work independently and to take initiative in order to respond effectively to new and/or changing circumstances and requirements;
• Previous experience in budget planning and monitoring budgets;
• Demonstrated strong administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills;
• Computer literacy skills - advanced level Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word;
• Ability to work flexible hours;
• Ability to work outside of center's operational hours (i.e., attend board meetings, staff meetings, special events, professional development, attending meetings/workshops, on-call work, etc.)
