101169252 Saskatchewan Ltd. dba Majha Carriers Located at 1155 McKay Street, Regina, SK, S4N4X9 is presently seeking a Transportation Supervisor. Applicants to have post-secondary certificate/diploma. Candidates with experience are preferred. Applicant should be able to communicate in English. This is a full time position. We will also consider applicants who are willing to work part time. The salary will be $24.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience. Following are some of the duties:
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and Ministry of Transportation safety procedures.
- Communicate daily with the transportation Manager regarding transportation operation, production results, equipment and personal issues.
- Relieve drivers during their absences, if the transportation schedule requires such relief
- Comply with all employment and health & safety policies and procedures
- Participate in accident investigation
- Participate in annual driver evaluation reviews
- Provide orientation to all new drivers
- Maintain an up to date record (abstract) on each driver
- Ensure drivers understand their duties, responsibilities and company policies
- Ensure all drivers have uniforms and personal safety gear requirement
- Check all vehicles for cleanliness (as part of in –cab evaluation)
