Job duties are as follows but not limited to:
• Supervise day-to-day operations of the restaurant including planning, organising, and controlling various aspects of daily operations of the restaurant.
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of food assemblers and team members
• Evaluate the day-to-day operation as per company policy and protocols set by A & W restaurants
• Supervise the preparation and cooking of food, and the proper use of equipment in a safe and sanitary environment
• Assist in the responsibility for restaurant outcomes which include but are not limited to increased sales, profitability, and employee retention
• Order supplies and verify delivered food supplies for quantity and quality
• Supervise food storage and maintain inventory control
• Oversee building maintenance, cleanliness and security
• Direct the overall sanitation procedures for conformity to prescribed policies, procedures, and regulations
• Working to ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations
• Resolve customer complaints and provide on-going customer service
• Preparing reports and other performance analysis documentation
• Conducting audits according to A&W Restaurant guidelines to ensure food service quality, environmental safety, and infection control
• Recruit new staff, train and develop existing staff, motivating and encouraging staff to achieve targets.
• Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees
• Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
• Report to and attend regular meetings with managers or head office representatives
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
• Secondary school Education
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience within the fast food industry
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs, including early morning, afternoon and evening shifts.
