Logistics Analyst, Full-time, Permanent
Wage
3,610 to 4,010 monthly / 32 hours per week
Job Duties
- Plan loading schedules for customer orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize customs clearance and inbound shipment release.
- Coordinate activities among warehouses, suppliers, and clients to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
- Track and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, promptly resolving any issues or delays.
- Report on logistics performance and identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze and optimize operational logistics for import/export activities.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for improving warehouse processes, inventory control, and product handling.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management and accuracy.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
Skills Requirements
- Preferred post-secondary education in Business Analysis, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or substantial relevant experience.
- Strong verbal English skills are required.
- Preferred qualifications for familiarity with computer and data processing.
- Strong ability to effectively track multiple processes.
- Ability to reliably commute to Richmond, BC or a willingness to relocate prior to starting work.
