Position: Cook
Vacancy: Two (2)
Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent
Compensation: $16.75 to $17.75 per hour
Work hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Vacation: 4% of gross salary for vacation pay
Work Location: West Vancouver, BC
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook Italian food items from menu including antipasto, pasta, pizza, appetizer, desserts, etc.
• Make adjustment to food items to accommodate customers with dietary restrictions
• Supervise and train kitchen helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Comply with food safety standards and company policies by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
• Clean kitchen and work area
Requirements
• Completion of secondary school
• A minimum of 2 year of commercial cooking experience
• English skills
