Hours of Work: 40 hours a week

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor of laws
• License to practice in Trinidad and Tobago
• Ontario Foreign Legal Consultant Permit
Experience required:
• 5 or more years of experience practice in corporate, commercial law and securities law and regulation
• Sound understanding of the legal systems, business environment, rules and regulations, culture and local practices of Trinidad and Tobago
Asset:
Previous cross jurisdiction experience in other regions throughout the Caribbean and the UK is an asset.
Main Duties
Draw up legal documents and prepare statements of legal opinion,
Represent interests of corporation/employer in all business related to legal matters, and
Research legal precedents and gather evidence.
