Job description:

Construction managers plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities of a construction company or a construction department within a company, under the direction of a general manager or other senior manager.

Job duties:
1.Coordinate, arrange, oversee, manage, and assess construction projects throughout their entire duration, ensuring adherence to timelines, specifications, and budgetary constraints.
2.Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
3.Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
4.Develop and organize construction schedules and milestones, and continuously monitor advancements in comparison to the predefined timelines.
5.Work with architects,clients, suppliers and subcontractors includes negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences.
6.Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
7.Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
8.Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
9.Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
10.Recruit and oversee the tasks of subcontractors and subordinate personnel.

Skills and abilities:
1.Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
2.Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
3.Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
4.Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
