Job Description
Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Helper
Term of Employment: Permanent/Full Time/ 30-40 hours per week
Compensation: $23.94 per hour. Overtime after 40 hours per week
Working Conditions: Job involves Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, weekends, on call, and holiday work.
Education: Applicant must have completed secondary school or equivalent experience
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Languages: English
Start Date: As soon as possible
Specific skills: Move tools, equipment and other materials, Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public, Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed, Clean machines and immediate work areas, Replace oil, air and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment
