Job Description:
S Jee Framing Ltd. located at 7388 Todd Cr, Surrey, BC, V3W 7N6 urgently requires three Permanent & Full-Time Carpenter helper. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.
Job duties:
• Assist carpenters and help them in moving equipment and, provide assistance in other activities.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Load and unload wooden materials and move materials to work areas.
• Clean work areas, machines, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe site.
• Help cut lumber to specified dimensions, and drill holes in timbers or lumber.
• Follow directions and stay on task to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform other activities as directed.
Job Requirements:
Experience: No Experience is required and on job training will be provided.
Education: No Education is required.
Wage: $23.00 per hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% Vacation Pay.
Number of Positions- 3.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines, Large workload, Walking, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling, physically demanding, standing for extended periods.
Work site environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold.
Work Location: Various locations in Lower Mainland
