Job duties and responsibilities not limited to:
• Manage staff by overseeing their work schedules and assigning duties.
• Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers as needed.
• Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand.
• Analyze potential sales volumes and assess the impact of competitors' operations on sales.
• Use market insights to make informed decisions about product offerings and pricing.
• Determine the merchandise and services to be sold at the gas station.
• Ensure the availability of necessary supplies and services for customers.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
• Monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
• Plan budgets for the gas station's daily operations.
• Monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial targets are met.
• Determine staffing requirements based on workload and business needs.
• Address staffing issues promptly, such as scheduling conflicts or employee shortages.
• Resolve problems that arise in daily operations, including handling customer complaints and addressing supply shortages.
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily gas station operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school is usually required.
• A university degree or college diploma in business administration or other field related to the product or service being sold may be required.
• 3 to 5 years of related retail or wholesale sales experience at increasing levels of responsibility are usually required.
• Ability to multi-task, remain cool and keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication experience, verbal, written and administrative skills.
