Job Duties
• Responsible for Managing shipping processes for the region: Overseeing delivery staff and operations to ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of deliveries for all orders that ship out of the production facility they are headquartered from.
• Responsible for routing efficiency, adherence to dispatch and delivery policy, completeness and accuracy of shipping operations, and cross-functional communication regarding delivery issues.
• Manage a team of Associate level hourly direct reports, salaried Coordinator level reports, and salaried Lead level reports.
• Head the Shipping team, manage the Delivery Drivers, and supervise the Delivery Leads; also hire, onboard, train, and performance manage Contractor delivery drivers. When needed, provide coaching, training, and coverage for Delivery Driving, Dispatch, and Delivery Success operations.
• Manage and control the budget allocated for personnel expenses.
• Create and publish the driver schedule each week.
• Oversee and monitor the delivery key performance indicators (KPIs) and propose new processes.
• Provide performance reviews for the teams supervised.
• Monitor the seamlessly operation of the company owned fleet of vehicles, as well as to ensure they are well maintained, clean and tidy by the drivers, and the pre- and post-operations checklist are adhered to.
• Establish and foster relationships with members of the dispatch and delivery success teams, as well as the drivers.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related discipline is required.
• Minimum 1 year of Supervisor-level work experience.
• Class 5 Drivers Licence is required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to adapt and formulate new plans as contingencies arise.
• Self-motivated, with leadership skills and a high energy outlook.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and work ethic.

Salary: $75,000 annually or $36/hour
