We are seeking a candidate for the position of Vice President of Strategy to guide the company as we continue to develop world-class communities in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop corporate strategy for maintaining and expanding the company’s real estate development projects and services in Canada through cooperation with partners in the Mainland China and Hong Kong markets
• Create a strategic plan and policies and methodologies to implement the plan
• Identify, assess and analyze residential and commercial real estate projects that align with Kingdom Development Inc.’s strategic plan, while meeting the goals and requirements of Chinese investors and partners
• Liaise with Chinese development partners and/or investors to report on all aspects of real estate projects, including planning, finance, costing and construction, ensuring that project milestones are achieved on budget and on time
• Create and oversee a department to manage these activities and partnerships, and identify or hire key people, including management
• Create forecasts, budgets and financial controls, and coordinate project costing and timing between the company and Chinese partners
• Establish relevant operational policies and procedures
• Work closely with other members of the executive team to manage, plan, design, and build new residential and commercial real estate projects that meet the needs and expectations of partnered Chinese developers, engineering, financial and investor firms
• Act on behalf of the company in meetings and presentations and promote the company to key players in the industry in China and Hong Kong. Promote and negotiate transactions with Chinese partners
• Identify and maintain solid relationships with strategic partners including Chinese real estate developers, construction and engineering companies, financial partners and investors

Education and Experience Requirements:
• 10 or more years of executive management experience in real estate development in China or Hong Kong
• 10 or more years managing and cooperating with relevant senior management and teams involved in real estate development, including construction, engineering, finance and business development
• Extensive experience in real estate project analysis and management, cost and time projections, business development, and capital raising in the Chinese marketplace
• Confidence to influence a high caliber team to drive a business to higher performance levels and seize the opportunities presented internally and in the market.
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin required, Cantonese in addition would be considered an asset) for clear communication with strategic partners on both the financial and technical sides; English or French is not mandatory as full language support is provided

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Working hours: 40 hours/week
Salary: $200,000 per annum ($96.15 per hour)
Bonus: Up to 25% of the Base Salary each year, plus milestone bonuses
Gas Allowance: $400 per month
Lunch Allowance: $15 per business day
Other Allowance: Company Cell Phone and Laptop will be provided
