NOC 72024 Delivery Drivers Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $32.00-33.00/hour
Hours: 40 hours/week

Responsibilities:
• Supervise the daily work of delivery drivers’ team, schedule personnel and equipment to facilitate effective and efficient delivery services;
• Assist to formulate delivery operation system in compliance with the actual order and customer needs, and direct and organize the implementation;
• Provide feasible suggestions and adjustments to the delivery operation system to improve the quality of the company’s delivery service and ensure delivery timeliness and safety;
• Make reasonable worksheets and working plans for delivery drivers in accordance with order requirements or delivery project needs;
• Adapt problem-solving techniques to accommodate diverse customer needs and build strong collaborations within the delivery team as well as with other departments of the company;
• Supervise the loading of trucks to ensure the proper sequence of deliveries, space utilization, load balance, and prevention of damage to products;
• Regularly arrange training for delivery drivers to clarify job duties, enhance work ethic and safety awareness according to related transportation regulations and company’s policy;
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education is required, courses or majors in logistics, management, administration, or related will be preferred;
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a team supervisor or other management role is required, minimum 3 years of experience in the transportation or delivery industry is required;
• Remarkable leadership and supervisory skills, excel in time, task and resource management;
• Strong ability to communicate effectively in a team environment, including excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and work tasks;
• Highly flexible in addressing work-related problems and issues;
• Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated;
• Strong decision-making and innovative problem-solving skills.
