Summary:
Pioneer General Store is a general goods and food store with attached restaurant located in the village of Caroline, Alberta. We have been in business since 2014 and pride ourselves in providing the quality meats, baked goods, groceries, and good food to local residents and transient travelers. We are currently seeking a Food Store Supervisor to join our retail team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee general daily operations of store
- Coordinate activities of cashiers, stockers, butchers, bakers, and other staff
- Hire, train, and supervise food store staff
- Authorize special payments, refunds, and special customer requests
- Manage and resolve customer complaints
- Manage inventory, merchandising
- Prepare sales reports as needed
Job Requirements:
- Completion of high school education
- 1-2 years of retail sales experience required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with Microsoft word and excel preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to communicate in English
Compensation:
- $20.00 - $22.50/hour
