Job Duties:
Bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers at stores or for shipment and delivery to customers
Carry customers' purchases to parking lot and pack in customer’s vehicles
Unpack products received by store and count, weigh, or sort items
Price items according to price list
Attach protective devices to products to protect against shoplifting
Stock shelves and display areas
Keep stock clean and in order
Obtain articles for customers from shelf or stockroom
Direct customers to location of articles sought and assist with inquiries
May operate cash register and computer for electronic commerce transactions
May order stock.
Check products upon arrival for exterior damage
Use barcode scanning equipment to record incoming stock, verify pricing and maintain computerized stock inventory
Label and document orders, and prepare shipping, customs and courier documentation when required
Enter, track and process customer orders and generate inventory reports
May operate carts, dollies, forklifts, hand trucks, order pickers and other powered industrial trucks (PIT)
May sweep aisles, dust display racks, and perform other general cleaning duties
Requirements
Education: Some secondary school is required
Experience: Experience in retail is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided
Driver’s license is an asset

Language: English is required
Salary: $16.00 hourly, 40 hours per week
Benefits: Profit Sharing (after 1000 hours worked), Health Benefits, Employee’s discount 10% and uniforms. Transportation cost covered if worker needs to relocate.
Important Information: Flexibility in schedule is required. During the first two months, workers will work 8-hour shifts, scheduled between 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. After this, the work schedule will be 9:00 pm - 6:00 am from Monday to Friday. Work on weekends and overtime may be required depending on the business needs. Overnights are required.
