Job Description:
World Wide Carriers Ltd. is looking for 25 Long haul truck driver who can perform following duties:
Operate and drive the long-haul trucks to transport the goods to and from the required destination.
Must follow all the safety procedure required to transport the goods and should ensure that the cargo is properly secure.
Plan the trips and have all the necessary documents that are needed to transport the goods.
Must perform inspection of the vehicle including the systems, the equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and brakes before, during and after the trips.
Maintain logbooks manually or electronically which include hours of service provided, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Able to manage bills of freight
Able to communicate to the drivers, dispatcher and customers by using the communication system and other on- board computer.
Able to do roadside repairs when required and may drive as part of team.
Education: Completion of Secondary school is required
Experience: No previous experience is required.
Job Requirements: Driver’s License (Class AZ)
Effective communication skills, knowledge of first aid is an asset.
Candidate should be willing to work all shifts.
