Job Description:
Printer's Parts & Equipment is seeking a skilled and dedicated Web Designer to join our team at our head office in Scarborough, Ontario. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the company’s online presence, including: Website and related applications, ensuring an appealing visual presentation, layout, and functionality with an easy-to-use interface. The Web Designer is also responsible for creating new and relevant content for the website using a variety of graphics, animations, articles and other data in an attractive way to present our services and products to new and existing clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish design guidelines for website and ensure consistent visual imagery in all company products
Develop and maintain website through regular updates, enhancements and bug fixes
Regularly update website with with new content, both print, graphic and multimedia
Optimize web performance and user experience by implementing industry best practices and staying up to date with current website design
Monitor website traffic, make data-driven decisions,
Optimize SEO to drive traffic and optimize website visibility
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Programming
3-5 years Work Experience in web design
Proficient in web programming base languages: HTML, CSS, and Java Script
Familiar with Content ManagementSystems like Shopify, WordPress, and Magento
Familiar with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce and Shopify
Graphic Design Skills using Adobe Creative Suite
Attention to detail, time management, organization and communication skills, and able to work independently
-Wages: $34/hour
-Work Hours: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours/week
-Permanent: Full time (1 position available)
