Construction Safety Officer
Emporio Holdings Ltd located at #125 21900 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC, V6V 0A8 is looking to hire 1 Construction Safety Officer
Salary: $36.00 hourly/ 40 hours per week
Position: Fulltime/Permanent
Minimum Education: High School
Language: English
Job Location: Various locations in lower mainland British Columbia
Start Date: As soon as possible
Requirements: A college diploma in construction, civil engineering, or architectural technology plus 1 to 2 years of related work experience OR 2 to 3 years of experience as a qualified safety officer or construction trade, such as plumbing, carpentry or electrical trade.
Job Duties:
• Develop and implement health and safety plans
• Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses
• Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards
• Inspect to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained
• Inspect construction of building and engineering construction
• Examine plans, drawings, and site layouts to ensure compliance
