Job description
Job title: Host/hostess - food service (NOC 64300)
Full-time permanent.
Work hours: Tuesday-Sunday, 35 hours/week
Wage: $16.25/hour
Work Location: 14 Prince William Dr, Placentia, Newfoundland and Labrador, A0B 2Y0
Language: English
Vacation: Employees are entitled to either two weeks of paid vacation per year or compensation equivalent to 4% of their gross salary.
Job responsibility
1. Welcome and greet customers and staff members.
2. Assign and escort customers to the designated table.
3. Give the menu to the customers who stayed at the waiting area.
4. Answer the reservation calls from the customers and mark them down.
5. Manage the reservations in well-organized.
6. Talk with customers to provide positive catering experience and respond to complaints when necessary.
7. Accept payments from the customers with receipts.
Employment requirements
1. Completion of secondary school is required.
2. Working experience as a server or other food service role is an asset.
3. Well-organized in face-paced environment.
4. We work and speak in English, and being fluent in a second language will be an asset.
