Job description
Job title: Restaurant manager (NOC 60030)
Full-time permanent.
Work hours: Tuesday-Sunday, 35 hours/week
Wage: $21.50/hour
Work Location: 14 Prince William Dr, Placentia, Newfoundland and Labrador, A0B 2Y0
Language: English
Vacation: Employees are entitled to either two weeks of paid vacation per year or compensation equivalent to 4% of their gross salary.
Job responsibility
1. Responsible to the operations of our restaurant to provide excellent catering experience.
2. Maintain the service quality by implementing service and operation procedures.
3. Recruit and provide one-on-one training for new staff members.
4. Assign staff’s work schedule and duties.
5. Supervise and evaluate staff’s performance.
6. Reply to the customers’ comments and complaints politely.
7. Communicate with suppliers from equipment to ingredients.
8. Communicate with customers for reviewing the restaurant.
Employment requirements
1. Completion of secondary school is required.
2. A college diploma in hospitality or food and beverage service management or a related field is an asset.
3. At least 1 year’ working experience as a restaurant manager is required.
4. Excellent in leading and managing a team.
5. Good communication skills and work under fast-paced environment
6. Strong customer service skills, multi-tasking.
7. We work and speak in English, and being fluent in a second language will be an asset.
