Description

Moosomin School is located on Moosomin First Nation, approximately 30 km north of North Battleford, SK, near the resort Village of Cochin. Moosomin First Nation School has a dedicated team that strives to the leaders of instructional change for the school and are expected to lead, foster, encourage, and support improvement of the education program on Moosomin First Nation. Moosomin First Nation school is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 school with an enrolment of 280 plus students. Plan, implement, evaluate, and report on Moosomin education programs.Develop and monitor program workplans, objectives and outcomes
Ability to embed local First Nation culture into teaching practice.Implement new methodologies and strategies to provide a creative, engaged, and inclusive classroom experience

Must hold a Bachelor of Education. Possess a Teacher Professional A Certificate. Experience working with First Nation education institutions and programs. Knowledge of First Nation education issues, challenges, and delivery models. Ability to use various computer software systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently Possess a valid Saskatchewan Drivers License and must be SGI approved for insurance purposes Provide a clean CPIC Possess a strong work ethic, and be dependable and reliable
