IMPORTANT MESSAGES:

Process intent:

The intent of this inventory is to create a listing of Indigenous persons* living in Canada who have qualified in a Government of Canada (GOC) process or are currently federal public servants seeking opportunities within Health Canada and/or the Public Health Agency of Canada at their substantive group and level.

*As defined in the Canadian Constitution, an Indigenous person is a North American Indian or a member of a First Nation, Métis or Inuit; North American Indian or member of a First Nation including treaty, status or registered Indians, as well as non-status and non-registered Indigenous Persons.

Definition of fully vs partially qualified pool:

A fully qualified pool is a list of candidates who have been assessed and who meet the merit criteria of the position. A partially qualified pool consists of candidates who have been assessed on some, but not all of the merit criteria. Further assessment will be required on the remaining essential merit criteria and assessment may be required for asset merit criteria (if applicable). Candidates must eventually meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed.

Definition of inventory:

An inventory where a candidate has applied but has not been assessed against any or all merit criteria is not considered a pool and will not be considered in the context of this process. If you have been fully or partially qualified in a pool, you would have received a letter from the responsible organization indicating this status.
