Hiraku Sushi in Coquitlam, BC is looking for a qualified Line Cook to join our team.
Conditions:
• Position: LINE COOK
• Vacancy: one (1)
• Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Compensation: $17.62 to $19 per hour
• Work hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
• Vacation: 4% of gross salary for vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation
• Work Location: Coquitlam, BC
Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook Japanese food items from menu including roll, donburi, teriyaki, salads, tempura, etc.
• Make adjustment to food items to accommodate customers with dietary restrictions
• Supervise and train kitchen helpers regarding food preparation
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Ensure food quality and food safety
• Clean kitchen and work area
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• A minimum of 2 year of commercial cooking experience
• English skills
