Your expertise in sourcing, assessing, and selecting candidates will be instrumental in building a diverse and high-performing workforce that aligns with our organizational goals and values.

• Support and work with our Managing Director, North America, to advise and provide guidance and support to the businesses on regulatory policies and procedures; ensure internal compliance with regulatory requirements; and prepare submissions and filings with regulatory bodies.
• Partner with clients and their hiring managers to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of managerial policies and programs, including conducting assessments and proposing improvements to methods, policies, systems, and procedures in areas such as operations, human resources, records management, and communications.
• Conduct quality audits and develop quality management and quality assurance standards for registration for ISO (International Organization for Standardization).
• May supervise contracted researchers or clerical staff.
• Work within the agreed SLA to provide a full 360 recruitment service.
• Partner with our clients and their hiring managers to identify current and future staffing needs.
• Analyse and provide advice on the managerial methods and organization of a public or private sector establishment.
• Create suitable sourcing strategies for each role, including (but not limited to): headhunting, direct sourcing, and advertising.
• Draft client job descriptions to ensure they capture role requirements and use inclusive language.
• Advertise positions across multiple channels, e.g. job boards, career platforms, and social media.
• Manage candidate information via the Jobvite, Ceipal and iSmart Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Conduct behavioural interviews with all suitable candidates face-to-face (or, where not possible, over video); you will write Talk Tracks and Interview Questions for each position.
• Design a suite of ‘interview books’ for each position for hiring managers to use in face-to-face interviews; this will include the use of any relevant assessment tools.
• Provide hiring managers with full interview notes that include, but are not limited to, technical skillsets, behavioural competencies, and general information about salary expectations.
• Develop sufficient talent pipelines for typical roles.
• Manage the interview process, including (but not limited to): interview scheduling, getting and relaying feedback.
• Ensure that all candidates are given honest, developmental feedback at the end of the recruitment process.
• Support a variety of recruitment projects as they arise.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, or a recruitment-related field; an additional degree (such as Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.
• Proven work experience as a Senior Recruiter or similar role, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in talent acquisition.
• Experience with Ceipal, iSmart and Jobvite and the ability to manage all relevant administration to produce meaningful KPI reports.
• Experience working with law firms, software and clean tech (such as active battery material) related companies.
• Clear working knowledge and experience managing full life-cycle recruitment.
• Ability to source difficult-to-fill positions through creative direct sourcing methods.
• Proven experience conducting behavioural interviews and assessing candidates.
• Ability to network via social media.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on high-volume req loads with efficiency and determination.
• A dedication to excellent and optimum customer care - we strive for excellence in everything we do.
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process and best practices in candidate sourcing, assessment, and selection.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing recruitment team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing innovative recruitment strategies that align with business objectives.
• Familiarity with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance throughout the hiring process.
• A passion for diversity and inclusion, with a track record of implementing inclusive recruitment practices.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable to changing business needs and market dynamics.
