You will have the opportunity to work remote in this position. However, there may be the need for intermittent meetings in the Saskatoon office/travel to site. The details of this flex work arrangement will be discussed with you in the recruitment process.
In this role, you will:
-As an individual contributor, be responsible for the identification, development, execution, and management of strategic sourcing opportunities within your assigned portfolio of goods and services material group categories. Material group categories may include MRO, IT technology, transportation, or aviation.
-Conduct regular strategy performance reviews, both with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and adjust sourcing strategies to mitigate market risks and leverage market opportunities.
-Monitor vendor service levels by developing and utilizing KPIs and scorecards to provide fact-based feedback on vendor performance.
-Manage performance driven relationships and utilizing continuous improvement methodologies, you will identify, develop, and implement improvements to align with business needs and market changes.
-Lead the development and negotiation of contracts in alignment with the category strategy and collaborate with internal stakeholders to move forward on objectives.
-Engage cross-functional teams and establish and maintain relationships to secure participation and support of ongoing activities.
Required:
-Bachelors degree within a related field (business/commerce)
-Ten (10) or more years of progressive experience in supply chain management, vendor management and/or procurement
