Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking a Permanent Full Time Section Head - General Radiology, CT, Mammography to join the team at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital (EKRH). Serving a catchment area of approximately 80,000 people EKRH is responsible for providing medical and surgical specialty services to patients throughout its service area.

This position will work Monday to Friday with the shift times being 07:00 to 15:00, 08:00 to 16:00, 09:00 to 17:00, 15:59 to 23:59, 15:00 to 23:00, 07:30 to 15:30.

What Will You Work On?
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, this position is responsible for the direction, supervision, coordination, evaluation, planning and monitoring of the General Radiology, Computed Tomography (CT) and Mammography departments in accordance with Interior Health Medical Imaging goals and directions. Acts as an expert clinical resource to staff and students working in these sections.

As of April 1, 2024 - the new rate schedule for this position is $45.64 to $56.99

Medical Imaging Careers

Qualfications
• Graduate of an accredited medical radiological technology program and four years’ recent related experience within CT/Mammography including two years’ of supervisory/management experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Certification in CT and/or Mammography.
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
