Description
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Nurse clinician, who, in addition to her/his functions as an assistant head nurse or assistant to the immediate superior, develops implements, evaluates and revises clinical tools and health care quality assessment tools.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
The nurse works in a multidisciplinary approach. Her/his role includes extended role functions.* Can be solicited to cover shifts on the floor when staffing is compromised.* Can be solicited to act as mobile assistant head nurse to assist with Assistant Head Nurse duties in Medicine, Emergency, Ambulatory and Assistant to the Coordinator.* Can be solicited for hospital projects or special tasks as defined by the immediate supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Member in good standing of the O.I.I.Q.
The candidate will be selected according to the local collective labor agreement (Letter of agreement number 2).
Language:
- Fluent in English;
- Fluency in Cree or French is an asset.
Other* This position includes on-call periods.* Vacation/sortie to take by rotation with the other assistant head nurse in Hemodialysis (never simultaneously).
