Program:    Yorkton Early Years Family Resource Centre
Hours:    30 hours per week, 9-weeks, Canada Summer Jobs Term Position Location:    Yorkton, SK
Start Date:    June 26, 2024 to August 26, 2024
The Society for the Involvement of Good Neighbours (SIGN), with support from the Canada Summer Jobs Program, is seeking 2 Early Years Summer Workers to support the sta, children and families in programs and activities at the SIGN Yorkton Early Years Family Resource Centre.

The successful candidates must have the ability to:
    Assist in the development and implementation of program activities for children and their parents/caregivers;
    Assist in improving the education, health and well-being of the children and families involved;
    Have the technical skills to video and edit online virtual sessions;
    Maintain positive professional boundaries without imposing personal judgements and expectations on families;
    Interact well with children and families;
    Work well with a team as well as independently;
    Manage time and resources well;
    Communicate eectively both verbally and in writing;
    Be available on evenings and weekends as required.

Qualications and experience:
The successful applicant must be eligible as per the Canada Summer Jobs grant guidelines and must:
    Be between 15-30 years of age at the start of employment;
    Be a Canadian citizen;
    Be interested or enrolled in Early Childhood Education or Education;
    Possess the experience of working with children;
    Valid Saskatchewan Drivers License and a safe, clean reliable vehicle with appropriate liability insurance;
    A current and clean RCMP criminal record and vulnerable sector check
