Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Workforce Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing productivity and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency of our workforce by effectively managing staffing levels, scheduling, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in workforce management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate workforce forecasts based on historical data, industry trends, and business needs.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the workforce.

  • Communicate and collaborate with department managers to understand staffing requirements to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained and to identify any issues or concerns.

  • Create and manage employee schedules to ensure optimal coverage and adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Monitor and analyze real-time data to identify and address any staffing gaps or issues that may arise.

  • Conduct regular analysis of workforce metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

  • Provide recommendations and implement strategies to optimize workforce productivity and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with HR and recruitment teams to ensure timely onboarding and training of new employees.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in workforce management.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of workforce management software and tools

  • Provide training and support to managers and employees on workforce management processes and procedures Develop and implement policies and procedures for workforce management and scheduling

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in workforce management, preferably 5 years of experience in a similar industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in workforce management software and tools.

  • Strong knowledge of scheduling and workforce management software.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to workforce management.

Nice to have:

Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location

Montreal, Quebec

Salary range is expected to be between

$68,250.00 CAD - $113,750.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
