Early Years Family Resource Centres bring services and information to one location at no cost for all families with young children prenatal to age five. Early Years Centres are prevention orientated and work to welcome all parents and young children in the community. By providing families with positive early learning environment and activities to promote positive brain development and the building blocks necessary for children (five and under) and families to succeed.
The Battlefords Early Years Family Resource Centre Program Assistant will be responsible for welcoming families into the Centre, assisting with the implementation of on and off site programs and activities, and help maintain a clean and safe space for families and community partners to visit.
This is a Canada Summer Job. To be eligible, youth must:
be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period; be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment; and, have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
